I just got cricket 2002 and i'm running it on a PIII 500mhz, 228mb RAM and a Geforce 256 DDR. I've set my graphics even lower with minimum detail and still the game is too slow, what could be the problem? To top that off, everytime i exit a game and return to the menu, the menu doesn't display anything and I have to restart the game.

To fix the menu thing look at the post made by Aussieboy that is a sticky topic, it is the 1st on this page I think, that well help the menus
As for the slowness of the game, I can think of much if you have a the display settings as low as they can go, maybe you have another program running when you are playing? If you do close that, that might fix it

well
the menus problem was fixed long time ago:
Go to Display Properties go to the last tap..."settings" or the tab which displays your Geforce Card the click "advanced" the go to the main tab which should be "GeForce 4....." then on the little pop-up box on the left...click "Performance Details and Quality Settings" the turn up you Anisotropic Filtering to 2x or the first notch after "Off" and click Apply then ok then go play the game...test it out

as for the slowness...if you have windows XP...turn down the shadow settings 2 da lowest..then turn down model details a bit...then...right click on my computer then go to the "advanced" tab then under the Performane heading click "settings"....change to "adjust for best performance" then click apply...do this just before you go to play and after change it back to "let windows.................." wait for change then click the next advanced tab on the same new window then at the bottom click "change" ...change the "Maximum Size" to the amount of memory you have (228) times 1.5 and then set the initial size to anything within the range of 100 less of 228X1.5 then click "set" then ok then ok then ok..lol

tell me if it helps
