gameplay is too fast

Hi, excuse me if this has been asked ans answered before, but I checked forums and could not see any answer.
I've installed Cricket 2004 on my laptop
Pent cetrino 1.6 cpu, 512 ram, Windows Xp Pro Sv pack 2
Nvidia ge force 5200fx gO5200

when I play a game, or ry to, everything moves in fast speed, like 10x faster than it does on my desktop.

Any suggestions welcome.

same problem.... more or less the same config except ati 128 radeon card... game too fast.... cant figure out what to do despite reading all forums....
