General question - re: monitors

I have to purchase a new monitor for my home pc, the one I "borrowed" from work 6 months ago has to go back, damm it!, i have always played blc on a 17" crt, i may upgrade now to a 19", maybe a flat screen, has anyone played blc on a screen this size or type?, if so was the game enhanced a great deal?, i wonder if the graphical quality is such that it will represent the game much better on a 19" screen, the quality of blc on my monitor will have a large influence on my purchase as this is the game i play mostly at home, your help would be much appreciated.

I think my monitor is 19", and it is good, having finally gone back onto the game last night for the first time in weeks, thanks to the new Test Configs
