Why is HBK banned?

We do have a custom hack I won't go into the details of but even if we did approve every account it would still be hard to tell which were legit and which weren't.

If he is using a proxy / spoofer, then job is easy.

Ban anyone who registers with a proxy (you can tell by the hostname) - because surely people who come to websites like this only use a proxy if they have something to hide.

As his megapatch seems to involve taking other peoples' work and calling it his that isn't really an option.

Well, if he did that would be a start but the patchmakers concerned have told me he didn't/doesn't have permission.

The thing is, he is banned, i doubt Colin will be made to look like a fool again by unbanning him, because i know Colin went and gave HBK a second chance WHEN some of the staff said no.

HBK will one day get bored, the staff will have ride with it I'm guessing it also helps if you PM them things like PM's he has sent etc.

As far as that megapatch is concerned, those in favour of it, visit cricketplanet, but here at the original forums, he has in the past used other peoples work without permission so i wouldn't want him back.

No offence he coppied PlanetCricket in two things,

1. The grass background on his website banner
2. Cricket Planet = Planet Cricket

the only difference is his web forum s*x.

Not that I approve of his actions but grass/green is hardly exclusive to Planet Cricket. One thing he doesn't have in common with Planet Cricket is having a legal copy of vBulletin (see the bottom of http://cricketplanet.org/forum/archive/index.php for some pretty good evidence), I have sent an email through to the piracy department at vB.

Plagiarism. I believe he took other members patches to make the mega patch. Correct me if im wrong. Your answer is also in above posts.
