Hex editor?

I have decided to give a shot at bat/kit making. ALthough most of the patches are already released, i just though that i would do it anyway!
Where can i find a "hex editor"? Sorry if this has been posted before, an di don't want any trojans from google or something.
Preferbly free, but no illeagle stuffs, mmkay?

what is hex editior anyway is it like photoshop like making jerseys and stuff?

Hex editors are there to edit the hex values. It's a programing thing not a graphical thing so no where near similar to photoshop.
