sorry to bother you as you may have answered this many times.

when editing kits and you want to change a colour how do you change the colour of the kit without erasing the creases on the shirt?

do u use a hex editor or somfin? :blink:

If you're using a graphics editor like Paintshop Pro or Adobe Photoshop, you can change the entire colour by adjusting something, I can't remember what it is I haven't used either for ages.

In Paint..... zoom in and change each and every pixel by hand.

is adobe and paint shop one of those software when u download them forever and it is a 30 day trial? :unsure:

There are many ways to do this.

I'm assuming you're using Photoshop. For PSP or other editing soft it will be something similar.

Under Image -> Adjustments

Levels
Colour Balance
Hue/Saturation

Use the sliders to get the colour you want.

Image -> Adjustments -> Variations is good for quick colour changes.

You can also select only portions of images to apply the settings to.

The second (and better method) is to use layers.

Create a new layer and set its blending options to multiply. Make sure this layer is the uppermost one. Now take the flood fill tool and choose your colour and it changes accordingly. The advantage of layers is that each portion of your image is individually editable.

If the second method doesnt make much sense dont worry I'll be writing a detailed tutorial on kits soon which covers all this.

Also DO NOT attempt any editing in Paint. It simply isn't good enough for anything other than very basic editing.
