How do you find new post in PC?

Me and Duff had a brief discussion on how we found new post in PC.
I use the index of our forums and scroll up and down to see what is new.
Duff uses the "New Posts" option.

Going to "New Posts" is much easier for me. Well when the option is given, why not use it?

I always click on new posts and have a quick scroll through. I then open anything catching my eye in a new tab and have a read through it all.

I normally go down the left column first and check the titles, before having a quick scroll down the right column for topics that may be in an area of the forum that might interest me.

I go to New Posts first. There are some threads that I check everyday (e.g. England in India, India vs Pakistan at Abu Dhabi, etc). I search for them first and click on "Last Page" link and directly go to the last post and read backwards till I reach the message that I read last time when I visited PC.

Quite complicated, aint it?

If I am away for a long while(more than 24 hours) I visit each forum that I normally visit and the new posts in the new threads are bold,so I look into each of them.Otherwise I use New Posts.

I check my reps and see which posts of mine people have abused me for, and I go to those threads and find out what I did wrong.

Yep, it's just my style I guess. I like scrolling up and down seeing if there is anything I like.

I don't actually search for new posts often. And if i do i just scroll down the index of the forums

I sometimes have problems with that. If I click a thread on the forum index, it takes me to the 'England v India' thread for example, but not to the latest post, but two pages before, which is annoying.

Well... I use a procedure which noone seem to use
I find new posts by viewing active threads section located at the bottom of the front page.. :happy Easiest IMO.
Takes one less mouseclick than 'New Posts'.
