I tried to look for an answer on this one but can't find it in the forums. Since I can't find it, i feel I'm the only one who's facing this issue or i have no idea how to change it.

Can someone please tell me, "How to do a Run out?"
On the bowling end it's almost impossible to get it done since all the throws are directed to bowler instead of fielder. Which means the batsmen can easily take a single and the fielder at cover or point will direct his throw to bowler who is miles away from stumps.
In DBC14 atleast i had the option to throw at the stumps directly and i use to get some sensational runouts.
I understand we need to keep the throw bar on green which is quite difficult to do it all the time alteast a throw at stumps can create chances.

Same is the issue with throws directed at Wicket keeper but here wicket keeper also adds up more time to throw back at stumps instead of dislodging bails with balls in his hands.

So far till patch 3 it was impossible to do a run out, I have been playing a game since the release and I have never done a run out, Maybe it is possible in patch 4 which is released for pc gamers yesterday, I don't know yet.

The only real way to do run outs currently , is by getting the throwing bar perfect , and then throwing down the wickets either side .

Ive had about 70 run outs in my 120 Online Pro20`s so far , that the only way.

Except where there is a total Toss Up between the strikers , and they end up in the middle of the pitch / or when the glitch happens where your batsman randomly sets off for a run , and you cannot cancel him in any way.

I had done only a SINGLE run out so far, thanks to AB De-Villiers skills on Covers.
The Throw bar was Green hence the run out.
However, only 10% of the Throw bar is green and the rest is just Red & Blue.
Without a fix, i don't feel this is going to be any easier.

You would have to ask the AI that one, I get ran out all the time. Damn my overly ambitious running.

its your skill level, the better the skill level of the fielder the more green you see, personally i hit the wickets 7/10 when throwing in (online) about 5/10 offline, just takes practice dude ;)

Good question but please don't make a thread for things like this. You can also ask here: Post Your Questions About the Game here - Please Read Opening Post | Page 16 - Don Bradman Cricket 17 Forum on PlanetCricket Forums

Finally I did my first run out against AI yesterday for the first time after playing this game for 4 months, Honestly I couldn't believe it!

How do you throw at the stumps powerfully? Every time they run a quick single I try and run them out it does a slow throw even when it's in the green bar!
