Problem: How to play and score runs off deliveries way outside off?

For that kind of a delivery use backfoot shots...


-Play the cut shot , if not use the slog cut shot which works for me..
-If on a short or short on good length Square cut is perfect including square slog shot..

these works for me , other wise i left them alone or get beaten.:D

Wides are hardly fantastic scoring opportunities, especially if you need to position yourself all the way right before the ball is bowled

Had an offie bowl me well outside off from around the wicket. Front foot late cut worked for me - combined with exaggerated footwork to get outside off.

Front foot doesnt work if the ball is full and wide only backfoot works...

I concur. The only thing you get for your troubles on the front foot is a chance of getting stumped.
