I changed settings and bugs went away

thanks sj miles you're awsome..i uninstalled the game (delete the saved files too) and then reinstalled with suggested settings..

and guess what? the bugs are still in the game.. i tried twice but it didnt make any difference..

i think this topic should be closed.. this is just b*lls**t that unstalling your game and then reinstalling the game with changing settings will work..

i had 34 byes in just 14 overs and 3 run outs..

i didnt make any difference in the game whatsoever..

a bunch of us said that you dont have to reinstall the game. i said earlier that you should change settings to what your PC can handle and that may provide you with an improvement. try lowering resolution and messing with different settings to see which ones your cricket 2004 handles best, that should reduce byes. it did for me at least, and it has worked for many others.

Only SJ miles said to uninstall. the rest of us said you didnt have to. read more than the first post in a thread before doing something.

I tried every possibility that exists with the settings..all the bugs were right there in the game..man i can live with all the bugs but that run out bugs is killing me..is there no any solution out there for the run out?

to get rid of most run outs you should keep short mid on or mid off rather than normal one, or you can keep them deep. the normal mid on and mid off seem to cause teh most problems with run outs.

you could always do manual fielding
