Damn cheer up mate...this is no World Cup, this is no series decider. We still had it less worse than Pakistan with the Misbah scoop. That night I was in Delhi with my friends and I saw the celebrations the city went through at 11 in the night! I'm saying don't forget the good times =] We may have lost this match, but Sachin showed he can still make 175 under incredible pressure while chasing and wickets falling around him, and this shows over the course of 2 years leading up to the WC 2011 we're going to see a lot from him. Winning and losing is part of the game..Aussies are the No.1 team and its going to take the entire teams effort to bring them down.

Otherwise a great read though, had fun reading about your father following the game and every moment of India's batting. :D

Its a game of cricket. Win some, lose some, thats how its always been and how it will always be. Dont get too excited at the highs or depressed at the lows, just enjoy the cricket, another match is always just around the corner!

Will anyone even remember this series in 2 years? What about 5 years? The only thing that will probably be remembered is

" remember when Sachin made that 175 against Aus, that was so awesome, wish I could remember who won the series though"

India has given me such highs and the happiness has been immense. But the lows, troughs are more painful then ever. Especially, when Sachin gives them.

It hurt real bad. I slept the night through. I didn't forget it in the morning. But feeling a bit better.

Why not just enjoy this for the great match that it was? Think of all the boring matches you've spent five hours watching that are basically decided by the 20th over of the chase. Here India gave up 350 but almost won and you got to see one of the greatest knocks of all time in ODI's by one of the greatest ever. India lost due to their rubbish bowling anyway, making 347 was a great effort that should have won 95% of the time, just not today.

And Sachin was probably really tired and he had tried that shot several times before in the innings and had it come off. "Soft dismissals" are a part of cricket.

It's just a game of cricket man.

He he... I also had pretty similar feelings but the good thing is, its out of my system now. It has made me even more hopeful that India can get the two wins needed for winning the series, which will be a good achievement (even if Australia have lost many players, they are still strong enough).

I wish Sachin gets another chance in this series itself to avenge for what happened yesterday.

Okay girlies, man the hell up.

It's a game...

I guess I would be able to understand if the loss India got was a bad one, but it wasn't. Australia scored 350 and to even get that close is a great effort and shows really really good fighting spirit.

The fact that your best player made 175 and single handedly gave your team a chance is an amazing testament to how darn good he is.

You guys keep living like this you'll give yourself a heart attack from the stress. Relax.

Exactly.

No point me posting the same when the above two posts already have what I needed to say.

It hurts, our top batsmen failed miserably one man comes stands tall plays a master's innings of 170 +

"Till time Sachin is on crease we have a chance, if his wicket falls the victory will be snatched away from our palm"

yeah was just game but still..
