i know that its a bit late for review but i just got the game yesterday so thought of writing mine one and also i noticed that many criticims are been thrown so just to give people some hope writing a reall true and detailed review and its a ps2 version review
BATTING
its a bit fun with batting and yes as all of people mentioned about 360 shots yea there a bit enjoying some new animations while batting i noticed down the track shot looks awsome but just that bug keeper taking off the bailes is a bit annoying but due to such excellent presentation we can tolerate that nuthing is perfect tats for sure and yea mind if u time the throw perfectly well i noticed keeper doesnt take the bailes off just like that i dont noe whats the relation but stiill....
batting is not at all easy in test level who says its easy this means that the kid has been an game worm and he knows how to play every game or he is jus lying because of phycological criticims some people have before even playing it properly i have played three matches in test level and its not that easy plus if the the batting rate also is concrned with the pitch if pitch conditions are suting then it getz a bit easy to go on
BOWLING
bowling is also a way in which u can control the run rate of the opposing team if u bowl according to what u are taught in tutor or coaching mode thn ai will surely play defensively and i have witneesed that variations in the bowl can b deeply noticed in reply..
FIELDING
is a reall art in this game if its too diificult and i salute codemasters for that because we were bored of having same fielding in every game easy catches and all but in this game you have to develope this art of timing the throw and catch.. there is one bug people talked about that ai does not keep spreaded field but again everything is not perfect....
BONUSES
in this section i would include those bonus sounds which make game intersting and exciting like 'GOOD BOWLING' 'YEA COME FOR ONE' 'KEEPERS END BOWLERS END' 'BACKGROUND SOUNDS WHILE TOSS'
then some nice cut scenes while toss shake hands and all looks amasing and professional then there is diffrent crowd noise in diffrent stadiums go to srilanka you will notice songs after every over like we here in super sports cricket that simply amazed me some good cutscenes of winning and during the match
COMMENTRY
yea thats the thing that i would rate a bit low because its all same old but again as i said nothing is perfect
COMPUTER OR AI
this game ai is totally like we are playing with our freind this ai also do some sloppy works in the field another major change because in almost every game aiz were perfect espicially ck2007 ai were almost perfect but in blic07 u will see drop catches missing runouts bad timing miss fielding ets and as i said ai being too agreesive its because of your skill if u give them tough time they will go to defensive..
this is what i think after playing three to four freindly matches i guess everyone has there own point of view but i would say to people who just lost hope by playing or reading reviews of other people go play with koool mind and witout criticims and those who havnt bought give it as try this game is not that much dissapointing
