ICC 2005 Update

Seeing as people having problems seem to be ignoring my posts I shall summarise YET AGAIN.

You have to have a completely clean install of 2005 to patch. If you have any custom screens etc you have to uninstall AND THEN MAKE SURE ALL FILES IN YOUR 2005 DIRECTORY ARE DELETED (except saved .CAP files). Uninstalling is not enough. Then install ICC 2005 again and patch.

If it still doesn't work post exactly which version of ICC 2005 you have got and where you got it. The only 2 versions I know of are SoftWrap version and Xplosiv CD release in the UK. Both of these DO WORK with the patch.

Daniel.

I did exactly that...I uninstalled the game, and then deleted the files in the ICC 2005 folder from Drive C:/ and then I installed it again with the XPLOSIVE CD, but it still gave me an error....BUT before when I first installed this game long time back, I used a keygen..but then as i said i reinstalled it with the cd..so i dont know what the problem is, but i will try again.!

I was able to patch my game with my Realsim patch and my Channel 4 menu update installed.

Pretty good to have Online Play but it was quite a bad move to do it when 2006 is about to be released.

i have uninstalled the game completly and also taken everything out the folder i start to download the update and i get a erros message saying failed to rename file. i click on ok then it says patch failed. i click ok then it says patching failed. i click ok and thats it. then when i clcik on the icon to load the game it says something like searching for shortcut icon or application, then it says the item "Cricket.exe" that this shortcut refers to has been changed or moved, so this shortuct will no longer work properly. do you want to delete this shortcut it gives me options yes or no i select no, whenever i now try to open i get the shortuct message. please help

Yep, I agree with that, this update is year too late!

Is it just online play that this patch fixes? Because I can't find anything else.
