Well done the Windies and congrats to all the Windies fans on the forum :clap . An unbelievable partnership between Browne and Bradshaw to see them home; fitting that the best game of the tournament was the Final. I only saw the last 10 overs of the match but what tension...I really thought England had it in the bag when Chanderpaul was out, but that's cricket for you.
I see S says it's good to see the Windies win, and yeah, after the recent couple of years they've had they deserve some success, but I believe England have never won a major one day international tournament :( . One day maybe...
Still, it's been a terrific year for England, and to win yesterday would've been the icing on the cake. After our mauling in the Nat West not many thought we'd reach the final of the ICC Trophy, and as consolation, we beat the Aussies on the way there ;) . Just a bit disappointing to have got so close to winning and not be able to finish the job off. But well done anyway to Vaughanie and the boys.
