I hope Afghanistan play respectably against Zimbabwe, a decent performance will prove they might be ready to play superior teams. They've done so well to go from division 5 to having ODI Status in the space of 3 years.

EDIT: Well I'm pleased to see they're putting up a fight. Bowled Zimbabwe XI out for 350 and are now on 358/7

It's really tight at the moment, provided Mohammad Shahzad doesn't go out Afghanistan can pull it off. I know it's only Holland but an innings like that is pretty impressive for an 18 year old at internantional level.

^Yea it is. That's why I'm hopefull for Afghan cricket. There team is pretty young and they atleast have a future, unlike some associate teams.

It's good too see them doing well and every win is a step in the right direction.

Kenya bowled out for 91 in their first innings against Scotland ;)

Only two people got to double figures.

Not going so well for Ireland this year, losing to Afghanistan probably won't help their Test chances.

I reckon their a long way off test status anyway.

It's a pity Afghanistan didn't make the World Cup.

How amazing is Ten Doeschate, 212* and then a five-fer. Legendary. Afghanistan not going too well at the moment, need 396 to win. :\
