A quick update guys, The Pro-40 league is being postponed, we will have the T20 Championships next.

My reasons for this decision is that I am going on holiday in 2 weeks and will be on holiday until the end of August.

The T20 Championship will be held in India, the home of the IPL, and a country that has embraced T20 cricket more than any other country i think. However, due to international tensions, the chairman has decided that matches involving the Karachi Bats should be moved to a neutral venue in Abu Dhabi, the Sheikh Zayed Stadium.

The 'home' grounds for the upcoming championship are:

London Lions, Feroz Shah Kotla in Delhi
Sydney Sharks, Eden Gardens in Kolkata
Melbourne Kangaroos, Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad
Auckland Eagles, M.Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bangalore
Mumbai Tigers, Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai
Chennai Snakes, MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai
Colombo Leopards, Punjab CA Ground in Mohali
Cape Town Cobras, Dr DY Patil Sports Academy, Mumbai
Karachi Bats, Sheikh Zayed Stadium, Abu Dhabi

9 Teams will be placed into groups of 3.

Group A:

Chennai Snakes,
Auckland Eagles,
Cape Town Pumas,

Group B:

Mumbai Tigers,
Sydney Sharks,
Karachi Bats

Group C:

London Lions,
Melbourne Kangaroos,
Colombo Leopards

The winner of each group will progress to the semi-finals, with the fourth semi-finalist being decided by whoever has scored the most runs and finished runners-up in their group.

Fixtures will be released tomorrow, and the T20 Championship will start on Friday.

3 matches will be played everyday throughout the group stages, meaning that the groups will finish on Sunday. The Semi-Finals will take place on Wednesday, the 3rd/4th play-off on Thursday and the Final on Friday.
