(ICC2005) crash after season end - any fix for this?

I'm at the end of the 2019 season on my old ICC2005 save (been playing it on and off for yonks), and the game won't go past the end of season date.

I'm guessing the problem is that my Surrey team has only played 15 out of 16 games in the National League, one match during this year's World Cup never seemed to happen for some reason, which probably screwed the game up.

So is there any way to get around this, or will I finally have to retire the save?

I don't see any way of bypassing that bug (which would have been the lack of that match being played), which isn't a bug I've seen before.

Yeah I had that to me as well. There's probably a patch fixing this, but I think it's unavailable
