I saw some of the guys talking of giving IIT prelims .

So how bout some nerve racking here in the forum as well .

Well to start it off a real easy one

Anybody even thinking of giving the IIT should know this.


Why is it easy to maintain balance while riding a bicycle at a fast speed than at slower speed ?????/

Expect answers fairly quickly .

It's almost a month since u posted this question :o

the question made me think but I haven't got the right answer.

tan θ=v?/rg,when v is less tan θ is less,& when v is more tan θ is more.

So what does it got to do with balance.

Let me think.Give me some more time.

Also if u have somemore intresting questions like this post it here!

I didn't know there is a complex mathimatical equation behind it.

Isn't it just inertia.

actually the equation I put before is related with skidding..

Skidding occurs when mgtanθ > ?,where ? is the friction coefficient &
tan θ=v?/rg.

Am I thinking in the wrong dorection.It might be simpler than this.

& ronney was that question ever asked in IIT tests.I haven't written IIT screening.So I don't know much about the papers.Anyway I'd like to have questions like that,try to get me somemore.

It has to do with Moment of Inertia .Now think bout the logicality of it as the answer given is self explanatory and post ur logic here anybody .



Also another question which atleast I found in tresting is this :

Of which colour a fish of green colour will appear if its 28 cm below the water level ?????

Most of u will say it shoulkd appear green but it wont . So rack ur minds and find the answer out .Also post how do u came to the conclusion .

When light travels from rarer medium to denser medium,it's velocity decreases & hence wavelength decreases.
In the visible spectrum blue has lesser wavelength than green.
So it would appear blue in colour.

Cooooool the logic is correct mate but not sure bout ur answer .It doesnt set out to be blue completeley .But something near blue thats for sure .
