India joins the Twenty20 club

I'd be very happy indeed if India completely ignored it because it would surely make them easier to beat at other forms of the game.

That is true.

Even when India have introduced the concept,I dunno whether it will work.

One thing the BCCI can tell is - bat as you do in the normal 50 over matches.
It would then hardly be a slog-fest like the one many of us enjoy. :(

Twenty20 has shown itself to not be a slog-fest in England. The batsmen who are the most succesful on a consistent basis are those who play orthodox shots.

I haven't seen a 20 - 20 match till now, so no comments about it.

However, introducing it in Domestic cricket isn't exactly good, because Domestic cricket in India is the learning ground for players, and if they ar fed bang bang, they will hardly develop.
What is needed is to introduce club system of around six teams with players from all over india. It would then be a perfect stepping stone for cricketers and 20 - 20 can be incorporated into them.

maybe one would start to earn more money by playing 20 - 20, however it would do more harm to already pathetic state of Domestic cricket in india.
a domestic player stepping into international arena is like having the first bowler encountered in life as Aktar.

NO! That will be disastrous to our chances of winning 20-20 matches. These days, a common run rate in 20-20 is 8 runs or above an over. Whearas in 50 over cricket teams are scoring at just over 6-7 runs an over (we see the rare 8 runs an over in 50 overs cricket when Sri Lanka, South Africa and Australia scored over 400, but that was just in two games).
