true but you CAN see my point thou`

Its very difficult to tell if australia have the greatest batting lineup in the world. The reason they are so good at batting is because they practise with the best bowlers. India has one of the greatest batting lineups but if they ever bowl first, the pressure gets to them and they fail bigtime. Aus just have a great bowling lineup. In fielding I think its all about fitness and the fitness level of the aussies is amazing. India train hard, but they are just not as good as aus. The whole aussie team has fit players. India, well look at sachin. He certainly doesnt look as fit as any of the aussies.

the fielding problems that the sub-continent teams have also stem from the very hard outfields they grow up on. Many of the Indian and Pakistan players are averse to diving around the boundary and throwing themselves around on the field because they are not used to it.

The good fielding sides like Australia, South Africa and even NZ, the players grow up on softer outfields so they learn to dive around.

Actually it wasn't. As far as the ICC, the ACC, the BCCI and the PCB are concerned it was a two match series. The third match was completely separate from the series.

From the scorecard of the 2nd Test;

2-Test series tied 1-1

It was a two test series, followed by a tournament that included a India v Pakistan Test match.
it is a mutatal thing...like i know many indian people and they also recgonzied as thrid test...

Doesn't change the fact that it wasn't!

i think they are very over-rated, and mate, sorry i forgot your name but your avakar is a moving indian flag, YOU REALLY need to look at the top sides eg/ Australia, South Africa, West Indies (When they had their dayin the 80's) DEPTH is the key

if 1 aussie goes out BIG WHOOP someone else will come over to play

and winning away isnt as bigger deal any more as your on tour more than your at home....

:cheer: they are a world class side WHEN AND IF they have their full front line 11 otherwise good night sunny gim

Pak - Only game played but were thrashed

Conceding 273 and then chasing it to the 46th over of the game isn't exactly thrashing. You speak as if Pakistan were bowled out for 150 or something. Sachin Tendulkar batted beautifully no doubt about it, but thrash isn't exactly the right word.

plus that equals our old team with too many politics...probaly that is y akthar got 10 overs ...moreover these guys have improved really well since then

ps i think the question should be directed at TEST cricket...

one day cricket isn`t "proper" cricket to me...although it is lovely exciting!!

test matches are still the top of cricketing achievement

Actually it's all natural...
First India play well...
Then they are appretiated...
Then they become overconfident...
Then they fall...
Then people open topics about "India Overrated"
