England to win it by EOD tomorrow :D

England's game to lose from hereon. The moment India is 5-down, they lose the plot. Shardul flopped miserably, but much was expected from Jadeja and the other triple centurion. At least, Shardul can reclaim himself by getting a fifer or something. On the whole though, really don't see how India can win from here.

Very pessimistic outlook, this! EOD is akin to mentally drawing the game- I'd have said victory by TEA TIME !

The lack of belief Indian's have in their own side is quite remarkable. One bad series vs NZ and a hard fought away series loss vs Australia and you all seem to think you're the worst side in the world.
India to win by 50-100 runs, thanks for coming.

We're worried because Bumrah literally has no bowler who can support him. Whenever we need wicktes we HAVE TO go to him because the likes of Siraj and Prasidh are very inconsistent. Due to the almost non-existent support from the other bowlers, we are worried that England will be able to chase the target.

I think this match will be a draw or an England win if the other bowlers don't step up, which I think they won't (please prove me wrong boys !).

I am thinking Jadeja 7 wickets and Bumrah 3 wickets, India to win the match by tea

Bad series at home, mind you, it wasn't bad, it was probably one of the worst- Don't remember the last time any one white washed India at home. The team did have some superstars, but it is apparent that we rely heavily on them. Australia- in all fairness, the 2-1 under Rahane was hard fought- this one seemed lacking in intensity.

As @BasketballHooper pointed out above, take out Bumrah, England will treat this as an ODI and be done with it by tea. I havent seen any great shakes from the new captain, Gill, on the field. Hence, we as fans are pessimistic.

Cricinfo says it's an 11am start due to damp conditions. With only 7ish hours game possible, I would rather not bowl Bumrah until 40 overs or better yet not bowl him at all. He is too good a player to lose in slippery conditions.

Would rather test other bowlers and only bring Boom if absolutely needed. Others are supposed to be international bowlers. Can't see them giving 350 on the final day and call themselves as Test players.

Bowling Bumrah early would help get wickets and put pressure on the English batsmen which would make them more prone to making mistakes. Then, Siraj and the others will be able to make use of that pressure and the more aggressive mindset of the batsmen (as they will give their 100% to win the match) to get some easy wickets and hopefully, win us the match.

If conditions are damp- Let Bumrah burst through for 30 min/6 overs. Let him pair up with Thakur at the other end.
Siraj and Prasidh will spray the ball in every direction. Not recommended to persist with them. It is conditions like these that I miss the likes of Umesh and surprisingly S Sreesanth! He would have been a menace on such a pitch!
