Please please please please please do not screw this up India. Great opportunity to go 2-1 up in the series.

With the pitch aiding spin, Root and Bashir (if he bowls) could destroy that plan.

Give Karun Nair two more games and jf he fails drop him till eternity and say his 303 was the biggest fluke ever.

Reiffel so much much much casually giving out against India .

time for tit for tat , waste some time India last few minutes :asleep: :asleep:

Told ya Gill's failure was due.

Why don't umpires/match referees allow players to express their emotions and show some aggression ?

Dunno your age, but if you did watch cricket in the early 2000s it used to be quite harrowing for us Indians, to see our captain getting called up/banned due to Clive Lloyd and Steve Bucknor. Aggression these days has gone a notch higher and do feel cricket needs a system of red cards to prevent players from getting too physical.

All I remember is Barbados target 120! We all know how that ended- an upcoming stalwart appointed as captain, did well throughout the series, but we lost that game. The ball is firmly in the English court right now. People like Jadeja, who have shown promise will not stand up when it really matters. Karun Nair- I do feel this should be the end of the road for him. He had a great opportunity to cement his place and has not been able to to do. Might be better to look at Easwaran or give Sai another chance.

I was born in 2007, so yeah I did not watch cricket during the 2000s.

I agree with you on the physicality part but I think how the players are fined for celebrating or using abusive language is unfair. These things add to the rivalries and make the matches a lot more interesting to watch, especially Test matches since they provide a lot more room for all this than any other format. If the ICC wants the sport to grow, I think they should ease off a bit more on such fines.

Please let me know your thoughts!

England favourites now. It says they need 6 more wickets to win but effectively it's just 1 more (either KLR or Pant).

If the 5th wicket partnership doesn't score 100 of those 135 required, we know how things will go for the final 5 wickets.

Pant! Jadeja wont bat towards a victory. NKR is still relatively unknown. KLR can go into his shell. England get Pant, the match is over.
