Whos gonna be the top dog with the old lady passing away and Milan starting with defecit! Roma should grab on to the Serie A title with Inter smacking their lips too. Would love to see Roma triumph!

I think Inter are probably my favourites to claim the title but I would personally prefer Roma to do it.

My favourite team from Italy is AC Milan, but it will be really difficult for them to be Champions this time. I think Internazionale will win the Championship next season.

I was surprised that they recinded Juventus' last 2 titles.

Quite right though.

Relegating them won't stop corruption in Italian football though.

-15 points deduction for AC Milan is not much compared to the punishment to the other clubs. Inter Milan didn't face any punishment, since they weren't involved in it. Even better: they will be named Champions of the two previous seasons. But the clubs have a chance to appeal.

I had posted the link in the other football thread, but here is goes again.

CLUB PUNISHMENTS

Relegated to Serie B
30-point deduction for next season

Five-year ban for ex-chief executive Antonio Giraudo

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
AC Milan
Deducted 15 points next season
Out of 2006-07 Champions League
One-year ban for vice-president Adriano Galliani
Club official Leonardo Meani banned for three years and six months

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Fiorentina
Relegated to Serie B
12-point deduction next season
Out of 2006-07 Champions League
President Andrea Della Valle banned for three years and six months
Four-year ban for honorary president Diego Della Valle

Well the only reason AC didn't go down was becasue of bersculoni, there president person. Roma could win the title, but inter look better. Juve need to win at least 30 games to stay up i think.

I put it to about 25 actually :p

45 points will be enough to stay up.
