Ok, I have thought about making graphics for a long time, and finally I have actually made a sig.....

Ok, here's my first ever sig I've made

Please don't laugh :o - but any comments (positive/negative) welcome

well thats pretty good for a start
Tips: add a border try to let the render pop out
use a more basic text

But after all for a start its really good well done and may you improve alot more :happy ( oh and a tip : this graphics stuff might seem irritating at times but just keep practising and you will improve )

Ok, here is V2, with a border, is it too fat, too thin, too plain?, etc....

good start...take the text off though...sreesanth one...put it in like times new roman or arial at much smaller font size...also don't lower the opacity of your focal; in this case sreesanth...ever...

much much better man...but the text is still a bit big and takes attention away from the focal...make it smaller maybe put the render in the centre and than move the text closer to the render...

Anyways, thoughy I'd say, I don't think I'll be able to make any more graphics this week as I have exams to revise for , but straight back to graphic making after that :cool:

I use renders from the Precuts thread, but I want to cut out myself. I don't have photoshop but use a Programme called Photoserif or summat like that. I tried cutting out on a Programme I have called Macromedia Fireworks, I was almost successful but I couldn't quite copy and paste the desired cut out image onto a plain document with the cut out image on.

Anyone know what the problem is? , or does anyone know how to use the pen tool on Macromedia Fireworks?

Here is my problem, I pen all around it and it only copies the outline....
