Their Problem.

Excuse me? This forum is for everyone, not just a select few.

The Superthread had become a joke, towards the end of it's "life". The content largely included calling people names and some graphic sexual descriptions which simply don't belong on this forum. Before that, it was far more enjoyable.

I think he is referring to the mods (assuming his last comment was meant to be sarcastic). But honestly, if the Superthread will re-energize the forum and if a significant number of members want it back, I'm all for opening it up, even if there are some vulgarities. I mean, the mods can just delete them, considering that's what we do.

I don't think it will re-energise the forum. It's no busier or quieter now than when we've had the superthread open.

Stop being a stirrer Jaz.

I loved the Superthread but it was full of gay porn references and mindless spam from certain mindless spammers. I could count the number of worthwhile members in there on three sets of testicles.

Even if he was talking about the mods, it's not unreasonable for us to expect people to follow the rules....

Exactly. The Superthread may have been popular, but the rest of the forum was hardly bustling with activity whilst it was open.

Maybe I shouldn't use the presence, or lack thereof, of James to gauge the activeness of the forum anymore.

Yeah, many of the so called regular guys have faded away. Dunno what happened to sam? It has lost a bit of colour of late. But a honest opinion is the new look forums have made a bit for me. Good work Guys

If indeed the users have become more inactive, it was the perfect time the admin chose to upgrade, eh? Unless we are muddling up cause and effect.

The reason for this is so simple. The games are not popular anymore and there isn't much cricket going on.

So by your reasoning we should get an influx of members this week with Eng, WI, Ind and Zim playing? And even more when the likes of Pakistan, NZ, Aus and Sri Lanka take to the field?

You also have to remember that a large part of PC are 16 year olds who have GCSE's coming up in a few days/weeks. And unless your completely stupid, Exams mean a lot more than an online forum.
