I think it'll be more active once this upgrade atually shows it's worth. Getting slow for me at times, very inconsistent imo.

i think respect has been lost towards members and for that reason it has got worse, also the fact we let people get away with spam and poor behaviour.

Totally right, some staff members close threads far too easily and dont really let threads or discussions properly take place.

I know a few staff members agree other staff are too trigger happy when it comes to a little off-topicness.

How dare you? This thread is closed! You're banned! :p

if the forum wasnt as tightly moderated maybe the fun would come back i think this is what has been missing, also england losing :p

You also have to remember that a large part of PC are 16 year olds who have GCSE's coming up in a few days/weeks. And unless your completely stupid, Exams mean a lot more than an online forum.

And A-Levels. :p

Yes I agree, we can get told off for saying hello or posting a joke at times. People like freedom on forums.

Ok, just to remind people that this thread isn't intended for bashing the mods.
If you have a genuine complaint about why a post has been deleted or why you have been warned please PM the mod in question. If you're still not happy then PM one of the admins.
Moaning about it here doesn't help anybody :)
Cheers.

it isnt really moaning, i just think if the rules were somewhat relaxed and only the real spam was deleted or abuse deleted it would be great just at the moment the forum seems to strict and relaxing it would make it fun. so take this constructivly and not as a rant/moan. hope it helps :)

 You can close the thread but you'll never keep the Simbazz-a-nator down (Doesnt really sound good :p) But yeah, im not bashing the Mods as i havent named any particular names, im just saying in general terms, maybe something could be looked at again on how and when to shut down threads, and allow a bit of offtopicness or atleast one warning to keep on track instead of a first time closure :P

Someone with a dirty mind could take that the wrong way.

What you mean? Like you :p

I have to say, this Multiquote feature is handy (Y)

I personally believe that if someone piques your interest then start a new thread rather than let the existing one wander way off topic.
Threads are only usually closed when there have been several posts which add nothing at all to the thread title and even then there is generally a warning first. Hopefully we'll get the deleted posts hack going again soon so people know why they're posts are being deleted :)

The deleted posts hack was a nice addition, and if Staff fill it in correctly it can help.

You said "generally a first warning," cant you say to staff there HAS to be atleast one warning, and then its to the current staff members discretion to re-warn or simply close?
