Despicable Me & Doom

Watch Despicable Me part 2, I just laughed out loud through out with my whole friends group in the theaters, and Part 1 & 2 are completely different.

Paranormal Activity.

Disappointing, not that scary at all. Just not applicable to daily life IMO, which is it's downfall. I guess you have to believe in ghosts to enjoy it.

I watched the paranormal activity saga on someones recommendation, they said it was really scary. it was tame nonsense, I probably found it more funny than anything else.

I found blair witch project quite nerve wracking when I was 16 and went to see it late night in the cinema (wasn't ideal that at that point I had to walk through a woods to get home) but watched it again on TV a few years ago and found it daft. think that type of "found footage" horror has had its day.

Heh, been meaning to see Blair Witch Project for a while actually, disappointing to hear that it's not too great. Apparently it's quite scary if you read the books. I guess it's too bad I don't read then.

Up there with The Godfather, it's just wow. Martin Scorsese is my favourite director without a doubt, can't go wrong with his numerous films.

12 Angry Men.

Superb, very minimalist in terms of production values even for the time which is a refreshing change as the film relies on characterisation and social prejudices to give its thrills. If anything, it shows me how good films from earlier than the 60s can be. It is still very relevant today, something I didn't think would be the case with a lot of these older films.

Time to watch The Good the Bad and the Ugly, Casablanca, It's a Wonderful Life and Citizen Kane now.

Watched 'American Psycho'. Great experience again while watching an English movie in un dubbed formt.
