LCD Inverter Board Suggestions

Hello,

Last week I was facing some LCD problems in my Dell Laptop. First I though it may be due to battery hence I pulled it and put it again. What was happening to me is the LCD light suddenly goes in between however i can still see the desktop, icons etc if I throw torch light on the screen.

Thanks to Ste who told me that it may be a inverter board problem. What are the ways by which we can increase the life of a LCD inverter board? My Lappy is just 1 year and 3 months old. It's a Dell Inspiron 1525.

I have had similar issues as well on HP laptops. My guess is that they are simply not made to last that long so I just upgrade to a better laptop every year. That solves all problems and plus I am always keeping up with the latest laptop technology.

Don't you have 3 year warranty on Dell laptops?

The life of LCD is enough to last it more than 3-5 years easily depending on usage.
