Problem: Major input problems in Simulate menu

Luckily "Simulate to Player" works in Career mode, but whenever I try to access the match simulation menu to move things along, the highlighted field just cycles crazily fast and there is no way I can stop it or make the selection I want. I have no other input problems in the game therefore no reason to assume that any other connected input device (wheel, pedals) is interfering. This is very annoying; can anyone help? Many thanks.

NVM, disabled my steering wheel in Device Manager and the issue went away. I wish these input devices would play nicely with each other.
