I'm undecided about this, my favourite driver untill he retired and now he's coming back. The truth is that in modern F1 success is almost more dependant on the best car rather than the most skilled driver. It all depends on how good the Mercedes is, I just hope his reputation doesn't get ruined.

Is it safe for someone of his age to be in a f1 car? I know its schumi but you can't deny that reaction times slow with age and well, reaction time is pretty darn important when zipping around at close to 200mph

I'm sure that he has practised plenty before he they signed him up, surely they wouldn't sign him up just based on reputation (obviously Ross Brawn would have also swayed the decision). I doubt he will be the same driver he was 5 years ago but he should still have the ability.

It will be strange to watch Shumi without cheering for him, It was strange enough watching F1 without him.
