Microsoft Bing

Microsoft has had that for a while now though. First it was Live Cashback, now it's with Bing I guess.

How exactly does it work?

As for me, i'm still with Google. I'm a bit of a google fan, I love the search engine, the email, the calendar, and Picasa too. Google Maps and Google Earth are awesome as well. I also use Android - google's Mobile OS on the G1 (Basically the first 'Google Phone').

I've moved over to Bing now out of protest against the search box being made bigger on Google.

Never knew about Live Cashback so I suppose its a move that worked, huh?

I'm not sure how cashback works since I haven't actually used it yet. But I'm planning to purchase an HTC Hero off Newegg in a couple of week and it may come in handy.

The Hero is moving to Sprint of you want to buy it locked to the two year contract, for the much cheaper price of 279.99. (or something)

The Hero is an awesome device, built on the Android OS (w00t! :D), effectively powered by Google, and has HTC touch with the sense UI which is awesome.

Best alternative, maybe next to the Palm Pre, for the iPhone-like device IMO.

Sorry for the off topic post, I just love the Hero lol. :p

The Hero on Sprint is going to be CDMA and look a lot uglier. Also, it's not much of a discount if you consider a 2-year contract, is it? You get something like $300 off but you are locked in to paying at least about $40 a month for 24 months ($960) or a heavy fee to break contract.

Bing also recently added visual searching.

Bing is trying to hard to be fancy.

Yeah, I know. Just wanted to tell you before you made the jump that it was coming with sprint, in case you already had it (upgrade) or planned to switch over to Sprint soon.

Nah, I'm going to stick on AT&T.

Also, Bing's month-to-month market share grew 22% compared to last month. They're now at 10% of the search engine market share. I foresee them taking over Yahoo! soon.
