Which match do you think was the best run chases match??

for me it was Australia V South Africa* i saw every single ball of that match -- 434 runs  by Aussie :good back answer from SA

hats off to Gibbs and Smith:clap

which match was the best spectacular run chases according to you?

Michael Bevan appears in a few, the game against the Windies in the 1996 New Years match when he hit a boundary to win the game from the final ball of the match with the field spread and Aus being 6-38 at one stage chasing 172.

Also Australia v Pakistan at Hobart in 1999. Australia at 5-126 with a target of 369, Adam Gilchrist in his first test series worked with Justin Langer and set a record partnership. Gilly hit 149 no and Justin Langer fought with a typically gutsy 127. Australia reached the target after lunch on day 5

that would have been spectacular if numerous edges were detected and lbw appeals upheld.

Trent Bridge for me as well. Sachin and Sourav how good they can be in the One Day format...

The final of that Tri-Series when Kaif and Yuvraj exploded onto the scene against England after Nass and Tres had both gotten centuries. Cracking game and chase that one. Ebbed and flowed all innings.

Yeah, I saw that game in a hotel in India. Brilliant match. Watched the whole match.

Australia vs South Africa is definitely up there aswell. South Africa did amazingly to bring themselves up again and chase that total.

4th test may 2003
West Indies vs Australia St John's Antigua.

Australia set West Indies 418 to chase down and they did so with centuries from Sarwan and Chanderpaul. After some entertaining stuff between Sarwan and McGrath.

West Indies VS England in the ICC trophy Championship Finals of 2004.
a good win for West Indies.

Obviously the 400 plays 400 Aussie/SA game.

About 3 or 4 Chappell Hadleee series games where we chased down mid 300 scores.
