Hi guys, I thought of sharing my Ashes journey with the tweak I have tried..Got these after removing the Decal folder to a different place and playing without any logos , teams..

The AI plays very realistically now and I am loving it...I tried everything to get them out but AI was too sensible and they played really well..Taking quick singles when no runs are coming, leaving balls when movement is more and loose balls were dispatched..The front foot prod which I call as the dig out shot animation was also played the way it should have been, there were a slog shots of them though really low which was great too..In the process got these good looking wickets which made me punch in the air to celebrate as they were that good for the situation..

Then at the end Broad and Anderson had a ridiculous partnership and they werent troubled at all..Need to tweak their skills mainly of Anderson, he bats like a top order with shots all around with ease...I even took the 3rd new ball after 160 overs but they understood my frustration and declared... :p

And now comes Australia's batting...Pink ball night session ball was moving around and getting runs was a big challenge..AI now is bowling the stump line like before too..Not just Batting the AI bowling has also changed for good..Whether its good for me or not I do not know..But man that was an awesome session of cricket...Warner got out edging one to second slip..Surprise but was really good delivery too full and swung away which took the edge of the low part of the bat...

Then came in Khawaja..And struggle continued for a while but runs were coming off singles and doubles once in a while..It was really great feel though..I felt like AI kept me on the backfoot to survive through the last session of the day which I did..

You can clearly see the struggle both batsman were facing...I am not a guy who likes to stick around but I wanted to dominate AI but nope...I just had to defend..Movement across, extra bounce and brilliant variations from AI regards to the line and length just made it more challenging...Thanks a lot to @WealeyH for coming up with such a thought or test it just made me love the game more...Now coming back to the game Bancroft got out to a beauty which @blockerdave @grkrama always talk about driving the ball not being risky when ball is moving around but not this time...Ball was full tempting to drive and did but the result was as below..

Then came in the hope of the team Smith, he as the real him wasnt just waiting, he got off with some dab and run singles and then came in Ali who wasnt left to smile anymore in this match and was played all around the ground..Beautiful boundaries scored and Smith reached his 50 in his trademark style...

But on the other side Khawaja stayed , nothing to say apart from that...The angle the right hand bowlers get across to left handed makes it even more challenging which is clearly visible in Khawaja's case..Though both Smith and Khawaja managing crucial 50 partnership...And Khawaja survives..The struggle was real but the game was just too good to be left but after a 5 hour session closed the game...:D

This journey will continue...And eager to see whats in bag for AI to challenge me in the coming sessions...Thanks for looking..:)

The match continues..

Lost Smith edging one to Bairstow...When he was in great flow, got a good one from Broad which had extra bounce which got Smith..

Next came in Handscomb who wasnt as fluid as Smith was but he also got a decent 46 before getting bowled..

But soon Khawaja reached his much awaited 50..

20180104224215_1.jpg

20180104224326_1.jpg

Next came in Shaun Marsh who played really well and supported Khawaja through the phase and see through the session without losing any more wickets..

20180105213423_1.jpg

20180105213428_1.jpg

Soon Marsh reached 50 with well supported along with Khawaja..

20180105215556_1.jpg

20180105215557_1.jpg

20180105215746_1.jpg

Shaun Marsh his typical way was really strong through the covers which was good to see..The ball had a great flow off his bat which made it really fun to play...

And there was a moment which was really surprising..Khawaja got out to Woakes driving the ball and it was really clean edge but the surprising part was it was a NO-BALL...Khawaja and also me breathe in sigh of relief..It was a really great moment in the partnership also was when Khawaja was on 77..

And then with that 50 coming into the contribution they soon reached the 100* run partnership as well...

20180105221227_1.jpg

After his 50 Marsh found his flow and reached his well deserved century even before Khawaja...Was a simple celebration from him because the form he was in felt like he was aiming for a double which is to be seen..

20180105224030_1.jpg

20180105224034_1.jpg

20180105224235_1.jpg

The angle across from the right arm bowlers made him score more through the covers and the line was really good as well...Then they see through the third session as well and ending the day on a high..

20180105224604_1.jpg

20180105224608_1.jpg

And the most awaited century of Khawaja was to be seen the start of the day...Was really eager and the innings was brilliant in the amount of good bowling he had seen to get to the stage he did..And that moment came in early as well..It was an epic moment in my way of gameplay as I had never stayed for so long for this kind of a strike rate...The bowlers were mixing it up well and with line and length along with extra bounce was a really tricky innings but well deserved century was his...

This also resulted in their 200 run partnership as well..With more runs to come and also trailing by 100+ runs this partnership was likely to get them the lead the team was looking for...

20180105225449_1.jpg

What the lead would be and how much runs these 2 would be making is yet to be seen but this has been one heck of a journey so far in this match...Thanks for looking..

Do you get those funny animation of shots not matching with the animation post the cleanup? I see lot of animation which is weird from the actual shot being played. I am yet to do what you have done.

Zampa and Pattinson ?

yeah I see thoughts why u brang them in
You mean why I brought them in?

Wanted a hit the pitch hard kind of bowler and felt Pattinson was better option..And Zampa just to give spin a change...Next match Gary will be back...:D

Hahaa fair enough sayers stiff again hahha

Nicely played and nicely written. Some serious dedication and patience from both batting and especially the bowling. There’s a solid chance I would have got the craps pretty hard by the time the 160th came up!

And the journey continues..

Marsh adamant reached 150 sooner than expected..The great flow off the bat continues for him..

20180106170402_1.jpg

20180106170405_1.jpg

20180106170419_1.jpg 20180106170419_1.jpg

Also the reason for more shots being played by Marsh was because of instructions from the pavilion to score faster as it was the fourth day and making a game out of this was the intention for the captain Smith just like his real life..But going aggressive also results in wickets which is what happened to Marsh going for a big one...He goes for brilliant innings of 178..

20180106171951_1.jpg

But this didnt stop Khawaja from taking responsibility onto him and he also reached his 150 as well..

20180106172752_1.jpg

20180106172803_1.jpg

Now there was intention to go big all over with 30+ runs behind but Paine and Cummins fell quickly...Smith gave Khawaja to go all out but he managed only 10 runs after his 150 and fell for 160

20180106173227_1.jpg

But Smith had different ideas and great amount of belief in his bowlers that they can take the wickets quicker to come back into the game..So he declared when Australia were trailing by 11 runs...

Glad to hear that you are also seeing the same kind of difference as I am, after removing the Academy downloads. I feel the AI is batting sensibly now and more in line with the day one patch. Could you share the difficulty settings and the pitch and weather conditions set? Have you posted the AI batting scorecard? Couldn't find it in the post.

No I am yet to post AI scorecard..Difficulty is Legend , hardest batting and bowling hard..

And with a confident captain the boys come on to bowl...

England started steadily with some unusual slogging over cover and point regions though the line were consistent...But to everyone's surprise even the player playing the game [me] Pattinson got a HATTRICK in a test match which was incredible to watch..

20180106174514_1.jpg

20180106174657_1.jpg

It was really incredible to see even such a thing was possible in test match...

Soon Malan was out with a beauty from Cummins..Again another great moment from the game...When you get to beat AI when they are playing a shot is really great..Fantastic feeling..

The wickets just piled up and it became a nightmare for England but they survived the session..But the mindset of England players was hard to come to any sort of making it a match favouring them...The Australian bowlers just showed no mercy in getting them quick and making this match their own in every possible manner...

20180106183702_1.jpg

20180106183704_1.jpg

England came in the next session hoping to patch up something in their favour but Ali was gone to a bouncer coming to his body which he tried to defend but in vain as he just managed an edge off his top part of edge to the slip region and he managed only 20..

20180106184823_1.jpg

Woakes followed him with a beauty from Cummins getting him edging to slips..

Some resistance was shown from Overton to have something in for the bowlers when they came in...Soon every coin fell and England were bundled up for 166...

20180106191719_1.jpg

Australia came in with the confidence of getting England to the score they managed to..Restricting them to such a score just increased their confidence to greater extent...

They had to play 9 overs to complete the day...But early loss of Bancroft to a ball bouncing not much as he had expected...

20180106212811_1.jpg

The final day came in and Australia had task in their hands to finish the match..But England got their early wicket for the day to keep it interesting...

But then came in Smith who likes to take control of the match and see them through which he did as Khawaja and Smith made 50 run partnership..

20180106215901_1.jpg

Khawaja continuing his incredible form scored his 50 as well..

20180106220709_1.jpg

20180106220710_1.jpg

20180106220724_1.jpg

And the runs continued to flow with both of them reaching their hundred run partnership with Smith also reaching his 50....

20180106222140_1.jpg

20180106222149_1.jpg

The match just looked like in the pockets for the Aussies until Khawaja got an edge to WK...It was reviewed just because there were reviews left and not much in the match..

Khawaja wasnt happ to have not able to complete the match but was a great innings yet again from him...

Smith like himself finished the match with a HUGE SIX off Ali to complete the match and it was really good win and great experience in this match....
