I have been trying to play front foot six hits down the ground and it continualy plays back foot. The same thing happens with different shots. I press w and it plays a front foot. Then i do it again and it plays back foot. Can anyone help?

Sounds like you're playing on easy mode. If so, the computer will select either front or back foot for you. Try switching to normal mode and you will be able to control the shot yourself.

Hey Dude,

thats bcos u must be playin in the easy mode. The computer decides wehter to play front or backfoot shot. Change the level to medium and u r problem will be solved

I have a similar problem, and I am in medium mode!

Sometimes I hit S to do a front foot defensive, but the batsman does a backfoot instead and gets bowled underneath his bat.

Othertimes, hitting S and diagonally up on the keyboard does an attempted pull shot rather than a sweep when playing against slower bowlers. Just now, I tried W and diagonally up against a spinner for a ball pitching on leg and the batsman swept. Next ball, ball was pitching in the same area and I did the key combination again only for the batsman to attempt a pull and get bowled.

Another example... I just told my batsman to do a front-foot off-drive and instead he tries to play a backfoot shot and gets bowled around his feet.

And I checked again... it's set to medium difficulty not easy.

I have no problem like u guys are mentioning but my friend have the same problem,that is when he plays backfoot shot it turned into frontfoot shot and vice-versa.

there is no bug as such in the game
either u guys are playing in easy mode or
playing a saved game of easy mode or
having multiple profiles of easy /hard mode so u guys got confused when u checked ur difficulty mode

I thought the comp chooses your front/back options on medium as well as easy. Crank it up too hard and you should be fine.

No it only mucks about with this on easy level.

There is one forward leg glance that the batsman plays as a backfoot shot, and also the forward defensive against yorkers. Everything else should be as you expect it though.

I cant get a batter to play the cover drive off the front fppt no matter what I try. Pressing the down and left arrows keys with S, just produces a leave alone shot. I have to use the backfoot option all the time.
