NBA 2k11 "best sports game of this generation"

Yeah when I'm uploading pressbooks I just start the upload and then switch to TV (I got my PC hooked up to my TV) and go back at some point.

So has anybody played low key (relatively) in My Player and actually have a winning record? I'm putting up 18/13/3 by all star break and the Bulls are 28-23 and leading the division. I've become a total beast off the block and have a bevy of moves down under, almost akin of The Dream, and am a rebounding machine. I'm tied with Howard for the most RPG and have grabbed a hundred rebounds in the last 5 games. I should get 1000 rebounds by the end of the season at this rate, which means 7500 SPs. :)

Wizards are in finals and after early scare against Bobcats had very easy outing against Celtics and Magic.

Now play Spurs in finals. I don't mind playing teams like Spurs as to Heat.

I now dont try to be the scorer in the team and focus more on defense and setting up players for good shots. But still have 43/12/11 performance in playoffs and also averaging 2 blocks per game.

Even though I can shoot 80% from field I only prefer to score through dunks.

Does management ask player whom to dump off in off season and who to go for as I want a good Center player and wanna offload Jhon Wall and Brad Miller.

Got a new My Player going on the 360, this time with 5-minute quarters. Somehow I got stuck with the Nets again, this time a first-round pick. After many games of sucking because the play-calling is horrible on the team and no one can hit a jump shot, requested a trade. Ended up going to the Lakers for a first-round pick (talk about cheap!) and I'm already in the starting line-up.

I'm still on my player and I upped the quarter lengths to 12 minutes. Really makes a difference, gives realistic scores etc.

I was at the Knicks, but I didn't like the team at all. Stoudemire is a beast but Felton was useless so I requested a trade as we were bottom of the conference by a long way. I ended up at the Bobcats who were in a much better position.

Really starting to get the hang of things now. I had one game where I got a grade of A+. Shooting 63% FG, 26 Points, 12 rebounds, 8 assists, 3 Steals and 7 Dribbles. That has got me to being a starter at my new team after only a few games.

Damn this game is addictive :cheers

7 dribbles? What kind of a stat line is that? :p

12-minutes makes a huge difference with trying to get the higher teammate grades. I've found this out after my Xbox 360 MP game with 5-minute quarters. They try to make up for it by giving up/docking a lot of points on every play. This means that every mistake is magnified.

I've only managed one A+ so far with 5-minute quarters. May just play through this season with 5-minute quarters.

Haha its not really a stat i know, but it's listed at the top on player performance so thought i'd brag about it :lol

I'm consistently scoring A- and above now. I couldn't go back to 5 minute quarters after playing on 12. I just love putting 20+ points on teams every game, keep making some silly mistakes that lead to bad shot selection and turnovers though :mad

Last game against Memphis I put 31 points on them and grabbed 9 rebounds, bit annoyed I just missed the double-double. Still to get a triple-double!

My players still only rated 59. I get around 1800-2100 points per game right now so hopefully i'll be able to improve overall fairly quickly.

LOL @ dribbles. Glad to hear you're enjoying it though.

So I actually made the ASG with the 18/13/3 stat line. Just had a 12/9 game and got just under 20 min, but still. Much cooler of course was blowing out the Heat behind my 35/17/7 performance (9100 points!!). I've noticed my guy is much more in sync when playing against rivals, and I have yet to lose a rivalry so far. We're on a 6 game winning streak now after beating Atlanta in OT, and fourth in the conference.

I must say, being a PF, there isn't a tougher matchup in the league than Josh Smith. So so good on defense, and will dunk on you hard if you screw up on D. Dirk is really really tough too, but J-Smoove is so much more demoralizing.

Oh and I'm leading the league in rebounds, and am the second best passing bigman in the NBA (behind Smith).

I have also seen this that team plays well in rivalry game or playing against top teams.

Thinking about upping the difficulty now that my player is Rando, Love, and Chamberlain all combined in one.

Won season 1 and finals was no sweat affair with 4-0 and most games being blow out.

Next season I have option of signing with Wizards, Bulls, Knicks, Grizzlies or Trailblazers. I want to join Bulls but it would leave a whole in Wizards side as most of players value has dipped due to not being productive enough last season.
