NBA 2k11 "best sports game of this generation"

Don't have a major problem passing myself. Odd turnover ever now and then but thats just choosing a poor pass or wrong timing. Been dunking for a while myself score a fair few of them. Just under 20 PPG now and just beat the Raptors in Toronto scoring 26 with 3 Rebounds and 5 Assists. One of my favourite games so far along with the 47 pointer. John Wall looks pretty set in on Rookie awards no matter what I do.
Haha, I'm looking set for the rookie of the year. ;)

Dunking is a big deal for me since I'm a 6'0" PG. Imagine Aaron Brooks dunking regularly!

This is making me wish I liked basketball
There's still time to come over to the dark side!

damn you :laugh. If I'd played the same number of games as Wall I'd probably take it as my stats are much better than his. Missed the trade deadline so stuck with Pheonix for now which is crap really. Our Defense is strong but the offense just not good enough at shooting. stuck in 9th and have been for a while so play-offs are looking unlikely.

Think it's time for me to up the difficulty a bit. Had a 69-point game against the Magic following a 43-point performance against the Heat (minus LeBron). The Jazz have won 5 in a row now.

Yeah I have this finally :banana2

Wasted whole weekend on this one. Started out My Player as a Small Forward (Athletic). Got drafted in second round at 18 th pick but was relegated to D league. But by this time I had got hang of game and skill system.

No playing as a Shooting Guard, 6'5 and Athletic ability. Put up good show in draft combine and pre season games and end up playing NBA games :D

Was drafted in second round at 4th pick by Detroit Pistons  In a way it was good to be in a struggling team that I got lot of minutes due to my ball handling skills. Initially played more as role player passing the ball and getting assists but later due to shooting slump by teammates took up scoring game higher and started scoring 20+ games every game.

My defense is very weak and Vince Carter had two field games against me (40 +). Lakers were showing interest in me so I put up draft request and pip Celtics, Lakers and Heat as my choice teams. After a blow out game against Rockets where I score 25 points with 20% FG% I made very bad comment in post match conference and get drafted to Lakers. :banana2

Now in Lakers playing mainly as PG. In debut match against Clippers the Lakers blew 14point lead to loose the game but I had A game. I think playing with Lakers I will have more A games and improve my skill points.

Currently numbers are like this:
PPG 15
Assist 8
Rebound 6
Block 0.4
Steal 1

I get all defensive rebounds and that too because I cannot guard perimeter so I double team on low post.

My SF was beast in rebounding though. Have you got any endorsement deal?

In the game, can you only play as 'one player' or can you do like a season mode where you control all 5 players. And is there an offline multiplayer mode, a lot of the games these days don't have offline multiplayer modes.

Not checked yet but I don't think we have dynasty mode in NBA 2k11.

1. Both are possible. The My Player mode is if you want to play as just one player running your own career. There is also an Association mode that allows you to be GM/owner of 1 or more franchises (up to all 32 franchises if you want to do that). You can play games in that mode as well as do GM tasks such as make trades, change up rotations, hire/fire staff, etc. If you only want to play the season (and not do GM tasks) you can have your assistants handle that automatically.

2. There is an offline multiplayer mode--at least in PC. I can't see why there wouldn't be one in PS3/360.

As described in my reply to harrisb, there is an Association mode, which is the equivalent of EA's Dynasty mode.

multiplayer is a good laugh play my little brother alot. Not had much chance to play MP recently hopefully get abit of gametime in this week.

I downloaded the demo off PS Store this afternoon, and played it for about an hour. It's annoying that you can only play one quarter of Celtics vs Lakers (you have to be Lakers) but it's amazing, definitely going to get it.

Demo is half good as real game.
