No Bowling Patch

Hello everybody,

I am fairly new to this game, and have been looking around the sites but cant find anything like what i'm after.

In an old cricket game I had, when you were playing a test match you could get the computer to bowl for you, it would instantly work out the other teams total. I'm quite happy doing the bowling in 1 day games but for test matches it just winds me up when there is no end in sight.

Please has anybody made a patch like this where you can set the computer to do your bowling in test matches? This would really improve my enjoyment of the game.

Thanks, James. :D

No nead to make a patch for this. It is already in the game as Autoplay.

Of course Autoplay is for wimps and by using it you aren't playing the game properly. In my opinion it is cheating.

I think only beginners should use autoplay.

Well I guess the point of forums is to post your opinions, however I feel your points regarding being a wimp and a form of cheating are most unwarranted.

Not everyone probably has the time or patience you obvious must have when playing the game, so by not wanting to bowl in tests because of boredom/time available, does not mean you are a wimp as your post implies.

This of course is only my opinion

The wimps bit was a joke. Sorry if you have no/can't get my sense of humour.

I still think using Autoplay just isn't playing the game properly. It's like getting someone else to do your job for you at work, or getting someone to do an assignment for you at school or college.

The point of computer games is to test your skill. Using Autoplay is not testing anybodys skill but the person who programmed the feature.

And also having fun because some people don't buy games to test their skill, they buy them for fun so people like that will autoplay.I wouldn't autoplay if when bowling you could swing the ball because in my opinion without that bowling is boring.
