Let me drop in some of my opinions here. ODI is a format wherein many new talents are introduced. It is a pure classy format which helps us to determine the strength and weaknesses of a player. I too agree that it may prove to be a format where the strong teams competing against associates or weak teams always win the match which is very obvious (one sided).
T20 format was introduced in year 2007 which gave birth to many domestic T20 leagues around the world. That is how it got popular. Associates can host some matches in their home against a nation topping in T20/ODI so that they get some experience playing against strong teams and build their confidence playing at home.
In crowds' prospective, its clear that they want ODIs more than T20s. I'm saying this without any points or TRPs or anything because we all know people just want entertainment and not the format. Whichever the format might be, people love Cricket than the format in which it is played. People don't bother much about the format.
Test is a testing format but not so entertaining as the ODIs or T20s. In such cases you have to scrap the Test format considering the facts that revenue and expenditure gained from a test series.
In short, we don't need the scrapping or including in Cricket. It is good in current state and people love how it is operating currently.
