FireStorm Vs Monsters XI
We all here for the third match of FCL. The first two matches have been so great with nail bitting finishes and now the third match Firestorm Vs Monsters XI have been held in Pakistan Monsters XI have made some changes (Stephen Fleming,Spinsky out and Comes Joe Hall, Jason Gillespie) and in great shapes with their victory in the last match. Meanwhile Firestorm yet to win a game in FCL as made many changes in their playing eleven which they used in the opening match.
In Pakistan pitches where so helpful for the bowlers and the batmans, new ball will swing for the faster bowlers and the ball will come nicely to bat so scoring runs will be easy for the batsmans so this pitch is 50-50 pitch so the toss will not be important as far as the early matches are concerned. so the two captains and the umpire are out there in a middle for the toss in this wonderful night.
Monsters XI captain Khalek wins the toss and have elected to bat first.
Monsters XI with their new opening batsman Rameez Aslam who was the man of the match in last match have been promoted to open the innings with their specialized batsman Ursonly and in the other end the Firestorm changed there bowling line up by introducing there specialized spinner to bowl in their opening spell with there regular fast bowler Black Magic. Rameez & Ursonly for Monsters XI playing some nice shots and maintained there run rate at a high note. Rameez was the one who attacked the firestorm bowlers & Ursonly played his normal game. for the Firestorm there Specailized spinner Ollie Holden bowled some unplayable deliveries to both the batsmans.But Rameez & Ursonly where in great touch making the scoreboard tick at a brisk rate at the end of the 5th Over Monsters XI were 43-0 and looking good.
There Patnership continued as they were unstoppable by the opening bowlers.But the quick change in the bowling for the firestorm was Shane Warne he was straight away on the target with his googly which went on to hit the off stump of Rameez was out for 29(17 Balls) then chris Harris had been promoted to the onedown but he failed Biswas was the one who got rid of him. Meanwhile Ursonly was playing so nicely and scored 37(33 balls) and still looking good at the end of 10th Over the Monsters XI were 79-2.
The bowler of firestorm were on target and pressuring the batsman this led the batsman to take risks causes misunderstanding between the two batsman, Ursonly was runout great through by Biswas. Then came Jit who was in great form last match but failed in this match Sharne warne is the man to take the wicket. Firestorm is back on track. M.khan came to crease and played wonderfully smashed every ball he got, but C Harris bowled a beatifull delivery which khan tried to loft but landed safely to the hands of Black magic M.khan is out for 34 (15 balls). Next the captain khalek came to bat at the end of 15 overs monster's XI were 123-5.
Firestorm bowler held the momentum and make the batsmans struggle to get runs so the monsters XI batsmans are taking more risk to score runs causes joe hall and khalek to get caughtandbowl to the bowlers. Paul Nixon came to crease scored 12 runs at the time needed by the team. So the Monsters XI managed to get 163-8 at the end of 20 overs. This is not a bad score for this pitch lets wait and see how firestorm play...
Firestorm made lot of changes in there team so there new opening pair Vikram Agarwal and brain lara came to crease to open the innings for firestorm, For monsters XI Shane bond and Gillespie starts the opening spell. But the firestorm openers are on fire as per there name, the bowlers are hammered all over the ground. Gillespie is the man to stuck first, a nice in-swinging delivery to make brain lara stump flying brain lara was out for 18 (6 balls).Then came Ashwin a debutant player but he didn't feel like that he played wonderfully around the ground the runrate of firestorm is above 10. At the end of 5 overs firestorm were 68-1.
Firestorm was on top but then came the bowling change aliey Giles came to bowl for monsters XI. He took two wickets in short spell the first one was vikram giles made him misjudge his ball and bowled him. Then Ashwin who was unstoppable was stopped by giles, ashwin lofted a ball a superb catch by gillespe made him return to dreassing room for 21 (17 balls), Then came the Star batsmen mad snake for firestorm along with inzamam they both played watchfully in this five overs monsters XI were on the top taking two wickets for 29 runs. At the end of 10 over Firestorm were 97-3.
Monsters XI made some bowling changes but nothing worked the two batsman delevop there partnership mad snake played slowly and rotates strike to inzamam in the other end inzamam played nice shots this partnership made as to think this will be a easy winning match but giles again stuck by taking the wicket of inzamam. Then came the captain Avorneel Biwas came who started attacking the bowler from the first ball he faced. meanwhile lot of bowling changes have been made but firestrom were on top. At the end of 15 overs firestorm were 140-4 there runrate was nearly 9.4.
Firestorm needs just 24 runs in five overs with 6 wickets left and two great batsman playing at the crease. Monsters XI was in trouble but the a wonderfull flying catch by giles in C cairns over made the captain Biswas to walk out for 19(22 balls). It was the end of 18th over firestorm were 150-5 and just need 14 runs to win in 12 balls mad snake and C harris are on the crease but they made only 2 runs in 19 over.So firestorm is on huge pressure they need 12 runs in 6 balls monsters XI has regained its stregth.

The First ball of the last over C harris already faced 2 balls and scored 1 run he tried to finish the match in hurry but it went wrong and bond had some catching practice and he was out.
Firestorm need 12 runs if 5 balls.
The second ball Shantanu Ambekar came to crease C cairns bowled a line ball to which shantanu played defence shot he tried to run a single to give the stike to mad snake but failed he was runout.
The pressure has build up for firestorm with there star player in the other end shane warne came to bat firstorm need 12 runs in 4 balls
sharn warne tried his best to give the stike to mad snake the field was so close that they didn't able to take a single again warne was runout.
Then came black magic he is a bowler firestorm needs 12 runs in 3 balls. the fourth ball by C cairns black magic tried to loft the ball it take the edge and goes for 4 runs.
Firestorm need 8 runs from 2 balls black magic came dance down the wicket for 5th ball again it takes edge and goes for 4.
The last ball now the pressure is on both the team firestorm need 4 runs from a single ball due to pressure C Cairns bowled it outside the off stump black magic just guided the ball to a boundary.....
The Firestorm have won the match what match it was, This meant to be called as a nail bitting match.
The Man of the match was Given to Vikram agarwal for his great opening 39 runs of 19 balls
I enjoyed this match a lot hope you all enjoyed as much as i did.
