Treva wants move after being stripped of captaincy

Dublin Destroyers star bowler Treva has told the press that he wishes to move clubs, even if it means moving down a division. Treva was recently relieved of his captaincy duty earlier this month, and has now decided that he needs a change of scenery.

Treva spoke to the media this afternoon and had this to say: "It's definitely time for me to move on. The team is being given a makeover after the new management have come in, and I don't wish to be a part of it. I enjoyed last season, but I don't think I could enjoy another season at Dublin. I'd like to thank the owner of Dublin for making me skipper last season, and I'd also like to thank the late Iloveireland."

When asked whether a move away would mean a move down the division he responded in a positive manor. "It makes no difference to me. It's about enjoyment, and if a team in the second division can give me that then it doesn't matter. Obviously I would like to be playing first division cricket, but if that's not possible then so be it."

It is expected that the Dublin management will be setting a high sale price, which could cause problems between them and Treva. Rumours have it that Treva has a ?750k release clause fee, although we are not yet sure whether this is true.

More news from the Dublin Destroyer camp as it comes on this matter...

Manchester Divided will no doubt be happy to have you, Jack. Zorax is mental with money and knows people, so we can get you on a free somehow... ;)

Gah, he's been sold for a million. Bah...stupid Highveld Hitters. Maybe some other time then...

Meh, inflated transfer prices already. ;)

Maybe one day you can be transferred to the place you really want to move to, Jack. We will one day be in the same club. :p

He's already signed for us. Although, a bid of millions could make us swing your way.

Treva happy at move

Treva has told the media that he is delighted to have been bought by Highveld for the forthcoming season. Treva, who was sold by Dublin for a record ?1,000,000 fee, said he looks forward to playing under the management of Dr. Pepper and Shantanu_Rooney, and he wishes to take Highveld into Division 1 next season. "I am very happy with the move. It's going to be tough, but I believe we will win Division 2 this season. The management team are fantastic, having spoken to them this afternoon. They are a new team with great aspirations. It should be a great season."

When asked about the sudden buzz around the PCPL Treva said it was fantastic for the competition. "The transfer window period is brilliant. It's hectic, but that's the whole fun of it. Over the next few weeks the competition will be buzzing, and then everyone will be looking on for the start of the competition. It's an exciting time for the PCPL, and I believe this season will be even bigger than last years opening season."

Maney wants a move

Maney2k9 has issued a 'come and get me' plea to the Highveld Hitters after his friend Treva signed for them today. Maney made it known to his owners, the Toronto Tanks, that he wanted to leave last season, but they couldn't come to an agreement with the Dublin Destroyers, his desired team.

"I wanted to move last year but the guys couldn't come to an agreement. I wanted to sign for Dublin so I could play alongside my good friend Jack. But my attention was drawn to the recent news that he had signed for Highveld, and that is, therefore, where I wish to go."

It is not known what Maney is worth, but he had this to say. "I am fairly active around the forums, and I know that I can contribute to the team and the thread."

Tanks need Star Power!

At a press confernce today Toronto Tanks captain Ledzep discussed his transfer plans for this season.

'We are gonna need some star power it is obvious. What with dpeparture of some key players and with the impending departure of Maney, we are itching for some new blood. So we are on the look out for anyone who wants to join our team. Basically we need people who can be active and obviously play well, so by the end of the transfer window we hope to make some big signings. So if any player wants to joine our tier 1 side then contact me.

DAY 2

W3lshrugby, Vatican Victors heroic legspinner and captain, has been linked with a move to all four division one teams, with official bids coming in from a couple of the teams, including 450k from Manchester Divided. It is apparent that he is taking some time to consider his future.

Maney transfer moves forward

Maney2k9 has decided to donate what little vCash he has to the Toronto Tanks in an attempt to help them on their way to finding some more players.

"To be honest I didn't realise the Tanks were in the middle of a mass exodus and so it seems only fair that I try and help them find some fresh blood. Good luck to them."

Once again in his press conference Maney expressed his desire to join the Hitters.
