I really think this should be Afridi's last chance saloon. His performances of late have been abysmal. Can't believe Sami is back in, he will get hammered in any game he plays. The team I would play is:
Hafeez c
Jamshed
Razzak (have him up the order, he is a big hitter who takes time to get going, a couple overs and he will soon be ocmfortable)
Shafiq
K Akmal wk
U Akmal (his on his last legs, needs to put on some big scores)
Afridi (^^^same)
Hasan
Ajmal
Tanvir
Gul
We have got 6, possibly 7 bowlers. Razzaq should open the bowling because frankly I dont have faith in him at the later stages. Ajmal should bowl his overs whenever the team needs it whereas Afridi and Hafeez in the middle to tighten things up. Gul could be kept solely for the later stages if he stops mixing too much and sticks to the yorkers.
Batting is more fluctuating. If we are in bit of a collapse we could push Malik/Shafiq up the order at no 5, otherwise get the sloggers in. Hafeez should drop down as I would like a left/right hand combination and Nazir is best equipped for the powerplays.
Should be a good WC. We are not favourites but have a genuine chance
