come on vibs you know it is pakistan who is going to win tthe tournament. pakistan in many ocassions has beatin sri lanka and also zimbabwe in a tournament....... but it is all right i know you are indian so you will support sri lanka instead of pakistan i get you.

You dont know anything- people are entitled to their own opinions you know :)

Nah, what I meant is that none of us know who will win- all we can do is guess, which is based on our personal opinions

Exactly, look at the champions trophy. Every one thought Australia was going to win, but England beat them. Every1 thought Pakistan was going to beat the Windies, but they lost.

Hm...Sri Lanka are a little weaker after Asia Cup and Beating SAF 5-0.
And I think Pakistan will revenge, and they are strong now, even getting f**** by Windies, and I don't think Zimbabwe got any chance, so I think:
Pakistan 65% Sri Lanka 34% Zimbabwe 1%
But you never know!

It will be between Pakistan and Sri lanka, should be close but my vote will go to Pakistan based on the fact its being played in Pakistan.

Pakistan look the favorites but they are unpredictable to say the least. one day they will steamroll the Aussies and the other day get defeated by Bangladesh, so the contest gives Sri Lanka a more than little chance too. Zimbabwe doesn't even have 1% chance.

Sri Lanka's success will depend on their batting... Jayasurya, Atapattu, jayawardena and sangakara. But they will have to face Shoaib, Sami and co. who are in decent form

N. Joysa is in good form with the ball. but he will be bowling to Inzi, hameed, youhana.

I give pakistan a slight edge over SL though.

Nobody can be sure, Usa was bowling good in the beginning, btw Zimbabwe have 1% chance, they are not that bad, even I don't think they can win, but I think ur going a little to far loosing against Bangladesh, let's say....Netherlands or Kenya.....

The way Zimbabwe were improving, after 1999 WC people predicted they may even win WC 2003, but since then a lot of controversies hit Zimbabwean cricket. They lost some brilliant players in N.Johnson, Goodwin, Brandes, etc. just after the cup and the loss of Andy Flower,A.Campbell,Olonga,etc. after WC 2003 destroyed the Zimbabwean Cricket totally. They still put up some good show by beating England in an ODI(also SRL in Sharjah) and their performance in VB Series was quite good(losing to India by only 3 runs and 25 runs in 2 matches and in 1 match losing to Australia by only 12 runs)

But, the recent sacking of rebels has actually made them extremely weak. But they still have Taibu, Panyangara, Hondo and a few others who may make a difference.

Zimbabwe generally come hard at Sri Lanka and if Pakistan win all league matches, Zimbabwe may pull an upset against Sri Lanka and somehow beat Pak in finals, they will make it. So, rightly said Zimbabwe have 1% chance.

i will not give zimbabwe even 1% chance............ i think the main problem is zucu. who sacked 14 importent players out of the team....... zimbabwe players are really struggling for form....... i think i am much better then some of the players in zimbabwe like dion ibraham..... he doesnt know how to bat every times he gor for duck whether it is test match or one day.. i dont know why they kept him in the team for so long.
