User titles lose their meaning if they get handed out too frequently. They are also up to staff discretion as to what is eligible for one, and this isn't.

How to you decide what is eligible for one? What made the Journalism comp eligible but this not?

Well for that one, it is an official PC competition run by staff, where as this is neither.

Because there are plans to return the Graphics Maker of the Month competition at some point in the near future.

If anyone would like to discuss this further, do it via PM. I'm sure it is more productive to worry about making decent graphics than worrying what reward you get.
