PC Games Help

Im asking you guys what PC game i should get because my uncles PC broke down and hes gonna get my old one and he said i can have any 2 games so has anyone got any suggestions

What is your PC's configuration ? And a pointer towards what genre (eg: first person shooter, sports, simulation etc.) you prefer would help people help you better (that sounds like a corporate tagline : )

well ive got one of the newest PC's and it can play doom 3 and quake 4 fine andthere meant to be really hard for most PC's to play on, ive got a intel dual processor 2800+.

i want any kind of game except from simulation and RPG

so can anyone give me a phew to look at

Here are a "phew" ; phew!

FPS:
F.E.A.R - its brilliant but very very hard on the system, and requires a really top of the line graphics card to play well
Far Cry - excellent tactical game. You'll not regret this choice. Will run well on your system since it runs quake 4 well.

Sports
Fifa 06 - great game all round, licensed teams and players, excellent career mode. Don't buy the WC edition unless you don't wanna play with club teams.

Adventure/RPG
Prince of Persia: sands of time, warrior within and two thrones trilogy : very good games with some excellent level design and great stylish presentation. Excellent combat mode.
GTA: Vice City and San Andreas : Buy if you haven't already. Don't think twice!

RTS
Age of Empires 3: Its an AOE game. 'nuff said.

Also, consider The Sims 2 and its various expansion packs, and also Simcity 4: Rush Hour (not the original Simcity 4, 'cos it sucks).

Counter Strike 1.6 (Best for me, i dont play any other FPS than cs 1.6)

Half Life 2 and it's expansion packs: How could u forget that?

Prey: will be released in a month.a very revolutionary game.Try it's demo

R.P.G.
Splinter cell:Chaos theory: A very unique game.It involves planning and deception.In this game, u are a secret spy who does what a spy does.In fact whole of Splinter Cell series is very good.

Elder Scrolls:Oblivion: the best R.P.G in its genre.IT hs too much for me to talk about.But requires a hell of hardware.

Sports:
Need for speed series:The best reacing arcade on P.C.Way ahead of the competition.
I couldn't keep myself from playing it hrs before major exams.

There are many more u can play, but We can't mention all of them.

Seriously, some of the best games are RPG!

Rugby 06 - You like Rugby then you should get it, it's a great game and probably one of EA's best compared to the others.

World of Warcraft - If your willing to pay every 2 months then this game might be for you. Seriously one of the best games online.

Battlefield 2 - Say no more, great game but pretty high specs required.

Hitman: Blood Money - Another option for a shooting game but it's definately one of the best new games out at the moment.

Titan Quest - Just tried the demo and it's very familiar to Diablo 2 but still a great game (developers of AOE!)

Pro Evolution Soccer 5 - Best soccer game out at the moment besides PES6.
