Sept 8: PCXV at Denver Nuggets
Covvy, James Edmonds and Ollie Holden shone in their first start as the PCXV annihilated the Nuggets by 27 points. Scion and company's tight defense ensured that Denver's two biggest guns, Anthony and Iverson, were silenced. Between the two of them they were only able to put up 33 points. Their performance was no match for PCXV's offense. The visiting team found their 3 point specialist in Edmonds as he sank seven shots from downtown, which accounted for only half of his shots as he racked up 40 points to take the game away from Denver.
In the paint, Holden and Covvy dominated. Holden was near perfect sinking 10 out of his 12 low post shots, while Covvy racked up the team's first triple-double. The game was completely reigned over by the PCXV as they gained a 31 point lead after the third period after having out scored the Nuggets by 15 points just in the third.
