Planetcricket FC vs Liverpool​

Everyone knows this is a miss-match. It should be a certain victory for Liverpool. But Planetcricket have to look at the positives. They have Left Hander back from injury which would strengthen their wing plays, and they can only hope to have some luck on their side.

As soon as the whistle blew Planetcricket was on the back foot. Good keeping by Spin saved what should have been the first goal. But It wasn't to be.

A counter-attack led to Bilal Tahir getting an open run, all he needed to do was beat Reina and he...





















Didn't make a mistake! Planetcricket were 1 up in the 26th minute courtesy of Bilal Tahir! They didn't want to lose this game now!

Spin made fantastic saves and kept PC in the game. Vikram Sajid was very poor as he made 2 mistakes which Spin had to recover! At half time PC kept it 1-0.

Jack Teague was brought on for Vikram Sajid at half time as PC went even more defensive.

This may have been the reason why Bellamy got through in the 76th minute! It was all level. PC were holding their heads. Thinking that the game has gone by.

But PC FC got a corner-kick in the 86th minute.

Chambers stepped up.

The corner was directed towards Lujbicic who hit a fierce volley.

But than..


A poor touch from Pauletta and it was heading towards goal!

It finished 2-1 with Planetcricket winning a memorable game!

Manager comments:

Although Lujbicic got the Man of the Match Award. Spin and Tahir both did equally well. Spin had a rating of 9 at half time and Tahir had 8. This was truly a team effort!
