The head coach Graham Gooch admitted victory in final ODI was particularly sweet given the amount of time he and PC have gone without any reward in white-ball cricket. He added: "Obviously winning the World Cup would be nice but winning a series against a quality side is probably up there with the best feelings you can get as a cricketer."
Having asked about the performance, he replied: We thought 220 was about par, and we knew we had to bowl and field outstandingly and the boys did that. I hope the momentum we've experienced today will carry on through World Cup.
