In ICC 08 Owais Shah is an absolute legend for England. Totally solid and versatile middle order batsman. He can play as the wall or go for the runs. Whichever you want.
Just about to say about this, check out his test match batting out of 5 tests in the summer!

4 hundreds and 4 fifties:D. Average of 82!

I've found that Luke Wright at the begining of the game is very poor but now im in 2010 and his bowling has become extraordinarily better. He's literally on the verge of my test team because of it. Hes averaged around 24 for the past two season and with handy knocks with the bat he's quite effective

I scored 22 with chris martin in this game!!!! He scored it in a 126 run partnership with James Franklin who always seems to be a really good batsman in the ICC games.

Just blew away the test scene with Anil Kumble and Piyush Chawla in the first season. This is what he did for me in the first season.

Owais Shah has been superb for my Middlesex team this season. Even though there are a large number of one-day not outs, he never bats lower than 4, and the sheer volume of runs shows through.

His stats for the entire 3rd season:

Another player in my squad who deserves a mention is Chris Peploe, the slow-left-armer, who has started every single limited overs match (one-day and twenty20) this season.

His last six consecutive performances of the season are as follows, from first to last:

(In ICC 2005, bowlers get 9 overs each in the one-day league, and 10 each in the Challenge Trophy)

Overs-Maidens-Runs-Wickets

10-2-31-1
9-2-24-1
9-1-30-0
9-0-32-1
9-0-30-0
9-0-27-0

Stunning economy. These figures may not seem that impressive, but when you consider the fact that Peploe is a fairly mediocre bowler with a first-class average that continues to stay above 50, it is really satisfying.

I tend to bowl him over the wicket, leg-stump line to a right-handed batsman, with a packed leg-side field. He bowls all his allotted overs in one spell, in the middle of the innings.

His economy rate in all one-dayers this season is 4.26.

Mitch Johnson is a class batter in this :)
Made 105 against Deshi's, hs an average of 50, pity he's shite bowling for me lol

I totally agree, batting from number 7 he scored 100* in an ODI to chase my total of 284! i couldn't believe it!

He scored 105 against me in a partnership of 186 with Katich.

I'm playing as Bangladesh; Farhad Hossain, Tamim Iqbal and Esnauful Haque are all gun players. Ashfiqur Rahman has been a surprisingly good pick, currently averaging 17.86 with the ball.

So far I've drawn both matches against Australia, beat South Africa 2 - 0, and finished 1 - 1 against Sri Lanka. I've scored over 500 three times, and over 600 once.

Vaughan and Rudolph are a very solid opening partnership for Yorkshire. In the last match they got a 241 run opening partnership and single handedly won the match.

In all my games of ICC, when signing overseas, every time I sign a West Indian pace bowler, he does awful. Never again!

In four seasons of ICC 08, Prosenjit Joy was averaging 48 in FC and 68 in Test. Tamim Iqbal 48 in FC and 59 in Test. Ehsanul Haque 44 in FC, 52 in Test.

Farhad Hossain was by far my best player though, scalping 82 wickets at 25, and averaging 34 with the bat.

Bangladesh moved from 10th to 8th in tests, gaining 10 rating points, and from 9th to 8th, gaining 6 points in ODI's.
