Prior and Broad save a man

Apparently, Matt Prior and Stuart Broad were walking back from a night out to their hotel and they saw a man on a bridge. The man claimed he wanted to jump. After an hour of talking, Prior pulled the man up.

I guess the performances of Prior partly contributed to the state the poor chap was in, so it was the least they could do, really.

I'm guessing the conversation went like this:
Man - "my life is dreadful, I want to kill myself."
Prior - "Andy?"
Man - "Who?"
Prior - "My mistake. How bad can it be? At least you're not an England cricketer."
Man - "Man, you're right. There are people far worse off than me."
