Problems with un-read threads

Well when i click on the PC link in my favourites it sometimes doesn't show the threads that have had new posts in.

IE, they're not in bold.

I've checked my User panel settings and I can't see anything in there.

I'm on Firefox btw.

Any ideas? not a massive problem, but it's an annoyance.

hey sureshot, i have that problem sometimes aswell, it mostly happens when there is that database problem.. and bydaway im on firefox too.

If you don't know, quite frankly, what's the point in posting here?

I sometimes get this problem too. You could use New Posts, but I only do in extreme circumstances!

The way VB3.0.3 handles read and unread posts is frankly lousy. 3.6.0 is much better and we hope to upgrade to that some time in the future.

I was having a problem similar to this, I cleared all my temporary internet files and it seem to solve it

Well, the testing in the testing forum implies that 3.6 is stable, so upgrading shouldn't bring any bugs!

The problem isn't bugs, it's features we have currently and don't know if we can upgrade with the forum software.

I did just delete my TIF earlier today.

It only happens occasionally too, glad to know I'm not alone.
